Microfibers are made up by extremely thin filaments, produced by an extrusion process. Its use is indicated for mortars and concretes for decreasing cracking/fissure mostly caused by shrinkage and settlement, due to its water retention properties. It also improves a better control over exudation and segregation. The microfibers also improve the performance of the hardened concrete, increasing the resistance against abrasion, impacts and fire.
NTC Fibra ® 12 is a polypropylene fiber made up by multifilaments, indicated for concrete and mortar reinforcement, minding the achievement of a uniform composite efficient against shrinkage crackings.
